- ESPN announced $30 monthly streaming service updates that will allow users to track their bets and watch them live from the platform.
BRISTOL, Conn.- ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro announced updates for ESPN and sports bettors in a press conference recently. ESPN is now offering full access to exclusive content through its App.
The major sports network has renovated its digital platform, making all ESPN content available online through the direct-to-consumer streaming service. Fans will now be able to track teams, place bets, and shop for souvenirs while enjoying games in real-time.
The all-in-one dynamic is a game-changer for the business and bettors at legal sports betting sites.
ESPN didn’t fully endorse sports betting until the end of 2023. They endorsed it via a deal with Penn Entertainment that led to the launch of ESPN Bet. After the partnership, Pitaro said:
“We have to partner with an enterprise that is making (responsible betting) a priority…”
During an interview, the ESPN chairman told ABC:
“One of the things I’ve always craved is a ‘SportsCenter’ that is tailored to me.”
The new AI-powered streaming service will offer viewers personalized sports content set to the familiar tone of ‘SportsCenter’ using artificial intelligence. Through the use of AI, popular ‘SportsCenter” anchors Hannah Storm and Gary Striewski will deliver fans an opportunity to track their bets at legal online sportsbooks with enhanced streaming options, fantasy tracking, and multi-screen options.
