Bailey Cannon led the pitching stats with two strikeouts and one earned run.

Saint Peter’s stepped up to the plate and went ahead early. The Peacocks put four runs up on the Lakers in the first inning. This started with an RBI from Dakota Pitts and a throwing error that let Hannah Koltz score. However, the Lakers would not go down without a fight. Bailey Cannon scored the first run of the Lakers Division I era off of a single from Mackenzie Gillis in the second inning. A wild pitch from the Peacocks let freshman Jazlynn Sanders add another. The Lakers would go on to add two more to their tally in the third and sixth inning. The Peacocks were able to pull away with a 7-4 win at the end.  Game Two
The first few three innings were scoreless with just two hits between the two sides. The Lakers would score first after Lauren Henrich hit a bomb to left field on a 1-0 count that allowed Braylynn Kelly to score in the fourth. Norfolk State answered right away with two runs from a couple errors by the Lakers. The Spartans added another in the bottom of the fifth and three more in the bottom of the sixth. Mackenzie Gillis doubled in the top of the seventh, but the Spartans defense did not allow any more. The final score of this game was 7-2 in favor of Norfolk State. Up Next
