All rights reserved.Police did not share the boy’s identity.First responders arrived to find Cranmore Ski Patrol personnel providing CPR to the 12-year-old boy at the base of the mountain. The boy was transported to MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in North Conway where he was pronounced dead.“On behalf of the Conway Police Department, and all the first responders who assisted, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family members of the 12-year-old boy,” Conway Police Chief Christopher Mattei said in a statement. According to WMUR, the boy was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.“On behalf of Cranmore Mountain Resort, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family,” a spokesperson said in a statement. ”The entire Cranmore family grieves this tragic loss.”NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (TMX) – A 12-year-old boy was killed in a skiing accident on a New Hampshire mountain on New Year’s Eve, authorities said.
