Denver Broncos High School Coach of the Week: The Denver Broncos High School Coach of the Week highlights high school flag and tackle football coaches who go above and beyond for their student athletes. Funding to provide equipment grants for recognized coaches.

Children’s Hospital Colorado: Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Sports Medicine Center pediatric sports medicine doctors, athletic trainers, physical therapists, dietitians and other specialists lead the region in state-of-the-art treatment for young athletes. Funding to research the physical, mental, and emotional effects of youth girls flag football.

Special Olympics Colorado: Special Olympics’ Unified Champion Schools program unifies students with and without intellectual disabilities using sports as a catalyst to create welcoming school environments and behavioral changes. Funding to underwrite new Unified Champion Schools featuring flag football across Colorado.

Juvenile Assessment Center: The Juvenile Assessment Center provides a coordinated site which contributes to the safety of youth, families, and the community through early intervention, comprehensive assessment and improved access to appropriate services in the 18th Judicial District. Funding to support assessment and referral services for justice-involved youth.

Wish for Wheels: Wish for Wheels empowers the well-being of 2nd graders, their families & the local community in Title I schools across the country by providing them with a brand new bike and helmet. Funding to underwrite new bikes, helmets and locks and provide community repair kits and trainings to foster positive community relations with students, their school, and neighborhood first responders.

Food For Thought Denver: Food For Thought Denver provides weekend food assistance to children experiencing hunger to ensure they have the nourishment needed to thrive in school and life. Funding to underwrite “PowerSacks” for all students at both Cheltenham Elementary and Colfax Elementary Schools during the 2024-2025 school year.

Colorado CASA: Colorado CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) empowers community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care and child welfare systems. Funding to support Denver Metro Area CASA programs and assist high-need youth with access to trusted adult advocates, advocacy services and wraparound services.

Colorado Gives Foundation: The Colorado Gives Foundation supports philanthropy by connecting donors with nonprofits through its year-round online giving platform and initiatives. Funding to support the inaugural Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day, building awareness and funding for youth football organizations.

Denver Urban Gardens: Denver Urban Gardens is the largest independent network of food-producing gardens in the country, stewarding 193 community and school-based gardens and 15 food forests across six counties in metro Denver. Funding to adopt school-based garden at Cheltenham Elementary School.

Clothes to Kids Denver: Clothes To Kids Denver provides new and quality used clothing in a boutique setting to Denver area students from low-income or in-crisis families, free of charge. Funding to underwrite new underwear, socks and shoes, filling a gap of an items provided to all youth that cannot be procured through in-kind donations.

WellPower: WellPower partners with the Division of Youth Corrections, Colorado Crisis Services and the 2nd Judicial District to fill gaps in government-provided mental health services for justice-involved youth. Funding to expand mental health services and wraparound support for justice-involved youth.

Gold Crown Foundation: The Gold Crown Foundation offers youth programs in sports, arts, and education, fostering skills development and positive mentorship in a supportive environment. Funding to underwrite the launch of girls flag football league and deepen developmental pipeline to girls high school flag football programming.

Project PAVE: Project PAVE is dedicated to ending violence by empowering youth to build healthy relationships by providing effective and accessible Healthy Relationships Education Programs and Early Intervention Mental Health Services to middle and high school youth in under-served communities. Funding to underwrite True Man character development programs in conjunction with Denver Broncos youth and high school football programming.

Second Wind Fund: Second Wind Fund exists to help youth (up to 19 years old) at risk for suicide access professional counseling services by removing financial and social barriers. Funding to support geographic expansion to provide in-person therapy services in all Colorado counties.

Good Sports: Good Sports drives equitable access in youth sports and physical activity, by providing new sports equipment, apparel and footwear and helping children in high-need communities achieve their greatest potential, on the field and in life. Funding to underwrite youth flag and tackle football equipment needs to remove the financial barrier of youth sports participation and increase youth safety.

Denver Broncos High School Game/Jamboree of the Week: The Denver Broncos High School Game and Jamboree of the Week series highlights a high school football matchup and supports the participating schools with a pre-game tailgate featuring Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and Alumni. Funding to provide equipment grants for participating schools.

Positive Coaching Alliance: Positive Coaching Alliance trains coaches, parents, and athletes to create a positive, character-building youth sports environment that promotes both performance and personal development. Funding to expand PCA workshops and training outreach focused on mental health and the well-being of youth football athletes.

Khesed Wellness: Khesed Wellness provides accessible and affordable mental health and wellness services with a focus on individuals, families, and communities who face systemic barriers. Funding to underwrite the launch of Khesed Wellness’ first Justice-Involved Youth Pro Bono Program to expand high-quality no-cost mental health services and improve outcomes for justice-involved youth.

Futures Football: Futures Football is a tackle football program for middle school students in the Denver Metro Area. Funding to be used to support middle school football team equipment and programming costs.

Food Bank of the Rockies: Food Bank of the Rockies is the largest hunger-relief organization in the Rocky Mountain region, working to ignite the power of community to nourish people facing hunger. Funding to support Totes of Hope program at Denver Green School Southeast and South Park Food Bank and co-sponsor Food Bank of the Rockies semi-truck vehicle with CommonSpirit Health.

Every Kid Sports: Every Kid Sports provides youth sports grants to kids ages 4-18 from income-restricted families so that they too can experience the positive benefits of playing. Funding to increase access to youth football programming for Colorado youth.

Servicios de La Raza: Servicios de La Raza provides and advocates for culturally responsive, essential human services and opportunities with a vision of building and cultivating a thriving Colorado Latino community. Funding to expand access to mental health services for Latino youth.

A Precious Child: A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. Funding to add school-based Satellite Resource Centers to increase access to basic needs for low-income youth.

Mile High Behavioral Healthcare: Mile High Behavioral Healthcare aims to provide a caring, seamless continuum of behavioral healthcare to those in need. Funding to underwrite wraparound and mental health services for LGBTQIA+ youth.

Denver Area Youth Services (DAYS): Denver Area Youth Services (DAYS) fills gaps in school-based services by providing accessible, culturally sensitive, trauma informed behavioral and mental health services for youth at no-cost, regardless of their insurance status. Funding to increase access to youth mental health services.

Chef Ann Foundation: The Chef Ann Foundation helps schools create healthier food programs by providing tools, resources, and funding to improve school meal quality and nutrition education. Funding to provide district-wide support to Las Animas School district through the Salad Bars 2 Schools program to enhance its school nutrition services for students across all grades and schools.

The Aspen Institute: The Aspen Institute’s Project Play Colorado initiative to increase opportunities in sports participation for Colorado youth with a goal of preventative mental health, physical health and positive holistic youth development. Funding to increase youth sports participation in Colorado to 63% by 2030 — aligned with Healthy People 2030 benchmark — through youth football participation and growth.

Colorado Dream Foundation: The Colorado Dream Foundation provides comprehensive afterschool and summer programming focused on academic development, college and career development and emotional wellness development. Funding to support afterschool and summer programming for youth at two high-need sites.
