GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2025 Florida High School Dual Wrestling State Championships will take place this weekend at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, on Friday, January 24th and Saturday, January 25th. The FHSAA’s best high school wrestling teams will once again converge on the City of Kissimmee to prove they have the most complete wrestling team in the state.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale via GoFan and are being sold by day for an advanced purchase rate of .00, and a day of price of .00. Parking will not be charged onsite, rather all tickets will include a .00 cost of parking in the ticket purchase price already, with the proceeds being retained by the host school. For additional event information, including streaming opportunities for those who are unable to attend in person, please see the information below or visit the wrestling sport page.This two-day, team centered, head-to-head championship event consists of matches across three classifications (1A-3A), beginning with the Regional Final rounds on Friday. All state semifinal and championship rounds will wrap the event up on Saturday. Of the weekend’s competing teams, all three of the 2024 state champions will be returning to defend their titles, however due to classification realignment, we will have a new champion this year in Class 1A. Lake Gibson (Lakeland) of Class 2A and South Dade (Homestead) of Class 3A each look to keep their dominant championship streaks alive this weekend, by claiming their seventh overall Dual titles. The Braves of Lake Gibson are seeking their fifth straight while the Buccaneers of South Dade seek their third straight in as many years. Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines), formerly of Class 1A, do return to Kissimmee seeking their third Dual title overall, but they must do so in Class 2A this year.
