2025 Nita Vannoy Tournament schedule, results

As a new high school sports season approaches, teams across the Lone Star State are tipping off the 2025 volleyball season at tournaments.

Several of the West Texas, San Angelo area’s best volleyball squads are also jumping into tournament action this weekend.

Many on the local top team’s — as well as schools as far west as El Paso and as far north as Plainview — are traveling to San Angelo to compete in the 2025 Nita Vannoy Tournament.

The 27-team tournament field will begin pool play on Friday, Aug. 22, before transitioning to bracket play on Saturday, Aug. 23. Nita Vannoy Tournament games will be played at San Angelo Central High School, San Angelo Lake View High School, Lincoln Middle School and LoneStar Middle School.
