(25News Now) – A bittersweet day today as the 3rd annual Team Tessa 3 v 3 Soccer Tournament kicked off with youth to adult teams all playing. Tessa Sutton was a star soccer player at Dunlap, before passing away two years ago from cancer. The foundation has now raised over $100,000 for Illinois families battling cancer, or catastrophic illnesses.
Today was also the start of the Eastside Summer High School Volleyball tournament, with schools like Peoria Notre Dame, Dunlap, and Metamora all gearing for their fall campaigns.
