He has a bald head,” said the Victim over the phone.The call continued with the woman explaining that the boy gave the owner cash after he demanded a significant amount of money, much more than the cost of a day pass, according to the sheriff’s office.The 17-year-old victim was then handed the phone to speak with dispatch.“So, the guy kicked him out and then he started walking down the highway and then this guy came out of the woods and chased him down and then that’s when he physically assaulted him,” she said.Police arrived on scene and began their investigation.McGree’s trial date was set Monday afternoon and will take place June 18.He claimed that when he was caught snowboarding without purchasing a pass he said he left the ski hill, and that’s when McGree chased him down the road and physically assaulted him.McGree is accused of disorderly conduct and battery. Both charges are misdemeanors. He faces a maximum of 11 months in prison if convicted on both charges.“The boy gave him 100 dollars cash because he was like you owe me money because the boy was skiing without a pass,” the 911 caller relayed.MT. (WMTV) – A woman called 911 when she found the alleged teenage victim of an assault from the owner of Tyrol Basin ski hill crying on the side of the road next to the hill.“What was his name?” asked the dispatcher.“I’m on the road with young teenager who was assaulted by the owner of Tyrol Basin,” said the woman who called 911. “I found the teenager walking on the road out here in the country with his snowboard.”“Then he grabbed him and pushed him to the other side of the road and grabbed him by his neck,” she said.Dane County jail logs show 39-year-old Nathaniel McGree was booked into jail less than two hours after the 911 call was made.The dispatcher continued to ask for a description of the man.Copyright 2025 WMTV.
