Sports analyst Skip Bayless has become the most recent public figure to share his candid thoughts on Taylor Swift, and his remarks were anything but “Delicate.”
On a recent episode of his podcast, The Skip Bayless Show, the former ESPN commentator did not hold back while discussing Swift alongside his spouse, Ernestine Sclafani Bayless, who initiated the discussion by stating that she is “not a fan of Taylor Swift.”

Skip, who is 73, concurred with his wife, adding, “I don’t get [Swift]” during the Monday, Dec. 2 installment of his podcast.
At one point in their dialogue, Skip wanted to assess Travis Kelce‘s partner based on a single criterion: “hot or not hot?”
“Taylor Swift to me? Not hot,” he stated, before adding, “But that’s simply my view. Beauty is subjective.”
His wife expressed her thoughts in a softer manner, referring to the pop star as “a cute girl” but firmly stating that she has no desire to listen to Swift’s music.
“I know people appreciate her,” Ernestine remarked, “but she’s not on my turntable.”
However, she did concede during their chat that Swift “appears to be a kind person and accomplishes great things for children, and they all adore her and look up to her.”

Nonetheless, regarding her music, Ernestine said, “I’d choose to listen to Bonnie Raitt,” whom she believes has influenced some of Swift’s songs.
“That’s part of her musical inspiration,” she argued. “It’s very alike.”
Unsurprisingly, fans of Swift in the comments were not particularly aligned with Skip and his wife’s views, with one person on Instagram describing their discussion about Swift as “yawn-worthy.”
“You don’t have to enjoy her music, but commenting on her appearance feels inappropriate!” another commenter noted, while one more agreed, “the nerve to critique anyone else’s appearance is astounding.”
