UIPM Vice President Sharif El Erian OLY engaged in discussions with the President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Andrew Parsons, about the prospective incorporation of Modern Pentathlon as a Paralympic discipline.

There has been noteworthy advancement in UIPM Para Sports development in recent years, spearheaded by the UIPM Para Pentathlon Commission, aiming for a strategic target of integration into the Brisbane 2032 Paralympics.

Egypt has emerged as one of the most forward-thinking countries regarding the development of Para Pentathlon athletes, and UIPM Vice President El Erian, who also serves as President of the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation and Secretary General of the Egyptian National Olympic Committee, seized the moment to converse with President Parsons during his recent trip to Egypt.
