The Dinos wrestling team took to the road for the second day of consecutive duals after their victory over Duchesne on Tuesday. They were prepared to face the Delta Rabbits, fresh off their win against Emery.
Andrew Kifer kicked off the competition for the Dinos, securing six points for his team with a win by fall in the 190-weight category. Following him, JJ Ruden earned another six points in the 215 class, also winning by pin. Jantz Greenhaulgh showcased an impressive technical performance in the 106 class, contributing four points to his team with a major decision victory (14-5).
Ashdyn Densley returned to the mat, achieving a win by fall for the Dinos, which added six points in the 113 class. Next up in the 120 class was Gage Lefler, who claimed victory over his opponent by decision (10-7). Riker O’hearon wrapped up the competition, going the distance with his opponent and winning by decision (6-3).
Carbon concluded the match with a total of 28 team points, losing to the Delta Rabbits, who scored 45. The boys will now focus on the Panguitch tournament this weekend, followed by a road dual against Cedar Valley on Dec. 11.
