It was a year ago that Koa Smith last graced these pages, highlighting the merits of the charismatic faith healer Joe Spinoza.

The three-time NSSA champion, who was the runner-up to Zeke Lau in the Ultimate Surfer competition and is a sought-after fashion model noted that he personally witnessed the miraculous healing of the disabled, reminiscent of instances previously observed in a quaint town named Lourdes in the Pyrenees and earlier when the renowned Jewish preacher Jesus Christ restored the disabled in the ancient regions of Galilee and Judea.

“I observed individuals rising from their wheelchairs. I noticed canes discarded as people opened their hearts wide, feeling genuine love for themselves!” asserted Smith.

Currently, at twenty-eight, Koa Smith has emphatically critiqued the WSL’s new Challenger Series with a scathing remark on the WSL’s Instagram page.

The top surfer globally should excel in every aspect of surfing.

Respectfully, I want to interject with a vision.

Imagine if the Challenger Series provided a platform for emerging generations in the sport to showcase their capabilities across various surfing disciplines, ensuring readiness for the CT!

Establishing a balanced schedule at reliable beach breaks, both left and right point breaks, along with consequential waves.

Thrilling surfing experiences, enhanced waves, increased visibility, more sponsorships, and superior surfers!

Similar to college football compared to the NFL; the same playing field with younger talent.

As for golf, this would be comparable to having professional players compete in Putt Putt to qualify for the majors.

Following some back and forth in the comments, Koa Smith outlined his envisioned tour.

1. Krui (left point)
2. Nias (right barrel or right point when small)
3. Huntington Beach (beach breaks)
4. El Salvador (right point)
5. Haleiwa

What do you think?

Regarding the new Challenger Series, ex-tour surfer Davey Cathels succinctly replied, “Jesus Christ.”
