Nike and the Brazilian Football Confederation are revealing an extension of their partnership for 12 more years, reaffirming Nike’s longstanding position as the exclusive sports sponsor and supplier for the Confederation.

This partnership extension ensures that Nike will continue to equip all CBF national teams for both men and women, including academy teams, the Olympic federation, and beach football and futsal teams.

The collaboration between Nike and the CBF boasts a rich history and a lasting legacy within the sport. Nike’s involvement with the CBF began in 1996, with a commitment to enhance global football throughout Latin America and to provide Brazilian players with top-notch Nike football innovations.

Nike and the CBF are now set to prolong this enduring relationship for another 12 years, which Doug Bowles, Nike VP/GM for Latin America, states emphasizes the partners’ united dedication to developing the game and supporting young Brazilian players.

This extension of our alliance with the CBF proudly signals the start of our fourth decade of collaboration, reinforcing our long-term dedication to Brazilian football,” Bowles mentions. “We are excited to keep collaborating to motivate the next generation of athletes across Latin America and globally. Naturally, we look forward to continuing to introduce the most advanced Nike football innovations to the Confederation to shape the future of the sport.”

The partnership extension embodies a broader mutual objective to ensure the thriving of football, both currently and in future years.

Nike and the CBF will persist in their collaboration to foster change by enhancing the women’s game, encouraging more girls to engage in football; advancing racial equality in the sport by endorsing diversity, equity, and inclusion both on and off the field; and improving youth access to football through grassroots and community initiatives that encourage the sport’s development. This will build on Nike’s history of community involvement in Brazil, including partnerships with Bola Pra Frente, Rede Esporte pela Mudança Social, and Observatório da Discriminação Racial no Futebol, boosting access to sports and play while leveling the playing field for everyone.
