The tech-oriented TGL, an indoor golfing league featuring PGA Tour stars, is set to launch on January 7, with a schedule revealed on Monday that might see Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods face off on January 27.

This six-team league will take place in a specially designed arena in South Florida, equipped with an enormous simulator screen and a putting green arranged around a roundtable.

In each of the 15 televised matches, three players from each team will play through 15 holes on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout 2025, with semi-finals scheduled for March 17-18 and a best-of-three championship on March 24-25.

Xander Schauffele, who won this year’s British Open and PGA Championship, is a part of the roster for the New York Golf Club, set to compete against The Bay Golf Club, featuring Irish golfer Shane Lowry and Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg, in the season opener on January 7.

Additional teams include Woods’ Jupiter Links, Collin Morikawa’s Los Angeles Golf Club, Justin Thomas’ Atlanta Drive, and McIlroy’s Boston Common.

Boston is scheduled to make its debut against Jupiter Links on January 27, boasting a roster that includes all major winners, with Northern Ireland’s McIlroy joined by American Keegan Bradley, Australia’s Adam Scott, and Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama.

TGL had initially aimed to kick off earlier this year, but the launch was delayed due to damage to the arena during its construction.
