For years, PUMA has relentlessly pushed athletes to be the best version of themselves, both on and off the field, with their stylish performance wear. Now, the iconic brand has joined the starting lineup for Sloclap’s Rematch, the online action video game for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation consoles.

Partnerships play a key role in how Rematch delivers content and experiences. The game doesn’t aim to just convey the feeling & joy of “playing” football — it wants to capture the full cultural spectrum around it, where fashion, competition, and self-expression meet. That’s where brands like PUMA come in, helping to anchor the game’s identity and offering players authentic customization opportunities.

“At Sloclap, we’ve always wanted Rematch to reflect the full energy, the style, the competition and self-expression. PUMA is a perfect partner for that: their strong presence in both gaming and football made them an obvious choice. Most importantly, we share a creative vision and a player-first approach that made this collaboration feel like a perfect match,” says Félix Garczynski, Head of Marketing & Publishing at Sloclap.

Puma and Rematch – A Match Made in Heaven

The choice of PUMA is no accident. As a footwear and streetwear brand with strong ties to professional football and a growing footprint in gaming — from collaborations with PlayStation, Minecraft and Rocket League, to sports franchises like EA FC — PUMA brings credibility and creative value to the project.

“Football is part of PUMA’s DNA, so joining Rematch—a game already generating serious buzz—is a natural fit,” says Ivan Dashkov, PUMA Director of Emerging Marketing Technology. “We’re excited to show up in a space where we’re both culturally and competitively at home.

Our Digital Goods team is proud to partner with Sloclap and Kepler Interactive, especially following their breakout hit Expedition 33. Their commitment to high-quality gaming makes this collaboration even more meaningful. Rematch brings a fresh perspective and thrilling gameplay that fans of both football and gaming will love.”

What is available now from this collaboration?

The partnership debuts in-game with the release of an exclusive outfit, with additional content planned for Season 1, including outfits and accessories inspired by both footwear and streetwear. This is just the start of a broader collaboration that will evolve over time, keeping players engaged and visually distinct as they take the field. The in-game Rematch outfit consists of popular in-real-life collections mixed and matched to create a stylish outfit that lets you look as good as you play.

With Rematch, Sloclap has distilled the world’s most popular sport down to its most basic tenets: Teamwork, strategy and skill. The third-person perspective puts you right onto the pitch for nonstop competitive play – there are no fouls, offsides or VAR. Control one player on the field for an intense showdown of 5v5, or choose from a variety of quickplay modes, evolving tactics and decisions to fit the moment-to-moment needs of the match.

Since the game’s launch on June 19, Rematch has taken the video game world by storm with more than 3 million players in its first week of availability and more than 13 matches played. Take part in Rematch, available now with versions starting at $29.99. Play now on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam.

REMATCH x PUMA

REMATCH x PUMA We are delighted to be teaming up with @PUMA, one of the most iconic brands in football and streetwear, for the launch of REMATCH. From the training ground to the Rematch arena, now you can rep the cat, head to toe.

In this episode of THE rAVe Esports Show, I had the chance to step inside one of the most legendary esports venues on the planet — the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. If you’ve ever wondered what makes a truly world-class esports facility, this is it.

We started by taking in the Luxor’s iconic pyramid and its transformation from a 1990s Sega arcade into today’s 30,000-square-foot, multi-level esports powerhouse. With space for up to 650 seated spectators (and over 10,000 standing), HyperX Arena has hosted hundreds of tournaments and more than half a million fans.

From there, we got into the tech — and trust me, it’s impressive. The arena houses 160 identical high-performance PCs, a 50-foot LED video wall, and over 25 PTZ cameras capturing everything for global broadcast. A dedicated gigabit internet line keeps the stream rock-solid, while fully automated lighting, broadcast-grade AV gear, and modular infrastructure make this space versatile enough for esports, premieres, tech demos, and more.

We also got a behind-the-scenes look at how Allied Esports powers it all, including a breakdown of their multi-floor audio system using Lawo gear, intuitive routing, and remote mixing capabilities. Chief Engineer Alex Markley shared how they’re solving one of esports’ toughest challenges: mixing intercom and gameplay audio in real time — across multiple zones and floors.

This episode reminded us that esports venues aren’t just arenas — they’re studios, event spaces, and tech showcases all in one. HyperX Arena proves that when gaming, broadcast, and AV converge, the result is truly next-level.

Josiah Fountaine and Wesley Johnson, both members of the THS class of 2025, play Rocket League during the 2024-25 school year in the above photo. Tonganoxie has offered a club esports team the last two years, but THS plans to offer a varsity team with KSHSAA announcing that it would add esports to its list of sanctioned extracurricular activities starting with the 2025-26 school year.

Tonganoxie High potentially will be going from esports club team to Kansas State High School Activities Association-sanctioned squad.

KSHSAA announced last week that it has partnered with esports platform PlayVS for the inaugural season of the KSHSAA Esports season.

KSHSAA members voted at the April board meeting to sanction an Esports state championship if 24 schools sign up for the extracurricular activity. More than 80 schools indicated in a June survey that they had interest in participating in the 2025-26 school year.

For the 2025-26 season KSHSAA and PlayVS will offer Rocket League, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. There’s also a chance Madden will join the fray depending on interest from participating schools.

The number of classifications and subsequent championships will be based on the number of schools that sign up to compete.

Tonganoxie has offered an Esports club team at THS the past two seasons, according to business teacher and esports sponsor Jaime Fahlgren. He will be the coach for the varsity team when the season begins in November. Fahlgren said Monday that the club has averaged 20 members the first two seasons. The team has competed against other club teams from across the state and sponsored a youth gaming camp during the most recent winter break.

Elementary and middle school students participate in a club-sponsored esports youth camp this past December.

Registration for the 2025-26 season will take place until Nov. 30. The two-week preseason begins Nov. 17. The regular season will be Dec. 1-Jan. 19, with the playoffs to run Jan. 26-27 and state championships Jan. 30 and Jan. 31 (if necessary).

The goal of the agreement is to promote safer and more transparent practices, aligned with the country’s new regulatory landscape.

The company also joins the Integrity Exchange, Sportradar’s global information-sharing network aimed at combating match-fixing in sports.

Bettor Sense is a technology based on artificial intelligence, developed from behavioral studies. It allows operators to detect early signs of potential gambling-related issues and carry out specific interventions tailored to each case.

The tool complies with Brazilian regulations and reinforces BETesporte’s commitment to a safer, more ethical, and responsible betting environment.

Additionally, by joining the Sportradar Integrity Exchange, BETesporte now directly contributes to an international integrity monitoring network.

The platform allows operators to share alerts on suspicious betting activity with Sportradar’s specialized team, strengthening the global response to match manipulation and fraud. In 2024 alone, the Integrity Exchange identified 843 matches with signs of irregularities, of which 291 were confirmed as suspicious—an 88% increase over the previous year.

“This partnership with BETesporte marks an important milestone in Sportradar’s ongoing mission to contribute to a safer and more sustainable sports betting and iGaming market. BETesporte is taking a proactive stance by incorporating responsible gaming as a central part of its operations,” said Tom Mace, Senior Vice President of Integrity & Regulatory Services, Product & Strategy at Sportradar.

“We are confident this will be the first of many partnerships, as the market increasingly recognizes the value of using data and technology to protect users and enhance compliance,” added the executive.

“BETesporte is fully committed to transparency and security across all its operations. This partnership with Sportradar—through the integration of Bettor Sense and the Integrity Exchange—reinforces our dedication to promoting a responsible and ethical betting environment in line with regulatory standards,” stated Marcos Pereira, CEO of BETesporte.

“Sportradar’s advanced technology allows us to anticipate and prevent risky behavior, ensuring the best possible experience for our bettors with full security. We will continue working tirelessly to protect the integrity of sport and the trust of our users, which remains our top priority,” Pereira concluded.

Sportradar

Sportradar Group, founded in 2001, is a global leader in sports technology, creating immersive experiences for sports fans and bettors. Positioned at the intersection of sports, media, and betting, the company offers sports federations, media outlets, consumer platforms, and sports betting operators a wide portfolio of solutions to drive their businesses.

BETesporte

A major supporter of Brazilian football, BETesporte is currently the main sponsor of CRB and Volta Redonda, teams competing in the 2025 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, as well as CSA, which plays in Série C. Previously, the company has partnered with several clubs including Goiás, Vila Nova, Caxias, Ypiranga, and Aparecidense.

Operating in the betting sector, the company offers a wide range of betting options and provides thousands of daily events, featuring super odds and top market prices—all through a secure and intuitive platform. BETesporte is regulated, authorized by the Federal Government, and partners with renowned former players like Zico, Diego Souza, and Vampeta.

As part of its strategic plan for the second half of 2025, BETesporte announced a sponsorship agreement with CazéTV, which includes the broadcast rights to some of the most prestigious European football competitions, such as the Europa League, Conference League, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and the Kings League, a new format gaining popularity among fans.

This move comes at a time of consolidation for the company in the national sports scene. This year, BETesporte sponsored 11 state championships and is currently present in major tournaments such as the Copa do Nordeste, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Série B, and the Brazilian National Team’s World Cup Qualifier matches.

On the platform, users enjoy an innovative, high-tech, and user-friendly interface covering numerous sports, from football to MMA, as well as vaquejada, motocross, tennis, basketball, and many others.

To offer a dynamic and interactive service, the platform is fully mobile-integrated, allowing players to track real-time statistics of sports events and even watch live matches, including NBA, Bundesliga, and the Supercopa.

The 2025-2026 school year is just around the corner — which means the YMCA of Wichita Falls will soon start up its before and after school programs.

For more than 25 years, the YMCA has offered a program where youth can actively participate in engaging and educational experiences.

YMCA staff will provide vehicle drop-off by 7:20 a.m. at the respective locations for the before school programs. This allows children to eat breakfast at their schools.

Vehicle pickup will also be arranged for end-of-school day dismissal for the after school program.

During the program times, kids will have a chance to learn about healthy habits for their bodies and minds, according to the nonprofit’s representatives. The YMCA staff will teach the youth about the core values of the YMCA.

Tutoring times will be offered, as well, for any child who needs extra help on school homework.

The YMCA will have three on-site locations providing all the same activities as at the Bill Bartley YMCA location:

  • City View Elementary School, 1023 City View Drive
  • John Tower Elementary School, 5200 Hooper Drive
  • Booker T. Washington Elementary School, 1300 Harding St.

According to Perry Smith, the director of development at the Dillard Early Learning and Youth Academy, the YMCA will offer two new, special after school activities.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, the YMCA staff will provide transportation to the downtown YMCA for voluntary swim lessons, Smith said. Esports will be offered and held at the Bill Bartley YMCA location.

Parents can register their children, through the online form on the YMCA of Wichita Falls’ homepage at ymcawf.org. Program prices can also be found in the online registration packet.

For any questions regarding the program, you can reach out to Perry Smith at 940-855-2301 or by email at psmith@ymcawf.org.
