Zoho Corporation Partners with Milton Keynes Breakers to Support Youth and Community Development
Zoho Corporation, a renowned global technology company, has officially entered into a three-year sponsorship with the Milton Keynes Breakers basketball team, signaling a new chapter in Zoho’s commitment to community development and youth empowerment. As part of this sponsorship, Zoho will fund new home and away kits for all of the Junior National League teams and support off-court initiatives aimed at fostering key employability, life, and digital skills for young people in the Milton Keynes area.
Empowering the Community Through Basketball
The Milton Keynes Breakers, a community-focused basketball club, offers inclusive opportunities for players of all ages and levels. The club’s mission goes beyond the court—its vision is to empower young athletes to reach their fullest potential both as athletes and as individuals. Phil Hannah, Director of Partnerships for the MK Breakers, expressed his appreciation for Zoho’s sponsorship, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on their mission.
“MK Breakers is more than a basketball team,” said Hannah. “We’re committed to supporting young people across Milton Keynes through both education and community initiatives. Zoho’s support enables us to expand these efforts, allowing us to reach more individuals and give back to the local area in a meaningful way.”
The partnership’s official unveiling took place in October at the Bletchley Leisure Centre, where the Breakers played against Team Newcastle University, proudly showcasing the new team kits sponsored by Zoho.
Zoho’s Commitment to Digital Skills and Community Growth
Zoho UK Managing Director, Sachin Agrawal, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the partnership and its alignment with Zoho’s mission of supporting digital and life skills in local communities. “We are thrilled to support the MK Breakers and their incredible work, which goes beyond basketball to inspire the next generation,” Agrawal said. “Supporting initiatives to equip people with life and digital skills is at the heart of Zoho’s mission. This partnership with MK Breakers allows us to give back to the Milton Keynes area, where our UK team is continuing to grow.”
Zoho is committed to addressing the digital skills gap that often separates education from industry. Through a range of initiatives, Zoho offers alternatives to traditional education and collaborates with academic institutions worldwide to provide students with real-world skills in digital and business applications.
