The Leading 5

At No. 1 is Strava, scoring 98 points.

Strava introduced new programs and product advancements with the goal of enhancing the journey for its 125 million active users. CEO Michael Martin pinpointed two main focal points: catering to women and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) to boost community engagement. Among the noteworthy features revealed was an AI-powered Leaderboard Integrity system to identify atypical activities, alongside the launch of a Family Plan Subscription that provides discounts for groups of up to four individuals. The organization also rolled out Dark Mode and updates to functionalities like Flyover, enhancing activity statistics and off-platform sharing.

Strava’s emphasis on supporting women in the community was a highlighted theme, featuring initiatives such as Night Heatmaps that showcase safe, frequented paths for nighttime activities, as well as Quick Edit tools for enhanced privacy options. In an effort to assist women in sports, Strava formed a collaboration with TOGETHXR and committed a $100,000 donation to the Alex Morgan Foundation to empower girls and women in athletics.

Moreover, Strava rolled out Athlete Intelligence, an AI-driven feature designed to offer personalized performance feedback based on activity data, accessible to subscribers in a public beta format. This functionality distills intricate workout data from smartwatches or mobile devices, providing athletes, regardless of their level, with straightforward, actionable insights on metrics such as pace, heart rate, elevation, and Strava’s exclusive Relative Effort. Athlete Intelligence assists users in monitoring progress over time, identifying trends, grasping performance metrics, celebrating achievements, and receiving customized advice. This feature is available worldwide in 14 languages.

In the second position is Home Workout – No Equipments, accumulating 88 points.

The Home Workout application provides daily bodyweight routines that engage major muscle groups, enabling users to build strength and maintain fitness at home without the need for equipment. It features expert-developed routines focused on abs, chest, legs, arms, and full-body workouts, along with functionalities such as progress tracking, reminders, tutorial videos, and a social media sharing option for results.
