Keiser University Winter OpenDr. Joaquín Garcia High SchoolLake Worth, Fla.The women’s indoor track and field team from Keiser University kicked off their season tonight at the third annual KU Winter Open. The Seahawk women made a remarkable debut, securing six top-5 placements, including two event victories. Julia Johansson-Scharnell and Yasmine Rogers both carried on their strong performance from the previous season, clinching wins in the shot put and the triple jump respectively.

The Seahawks will take a month-long break before participating in the Legends of Alachua County Meet on January 31st, 2025 in Gainesville, Fla.
