Now at 45, the vocalist fondly looked back on his days with Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez in the Tearin’ Up My Heart boyband, sharing his hope to see them come together once more, particularly after their track Bye Bye Bye enjoyed a resurgence in popularity thanks to its inclusion in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie.

During the Politickin podcast, Lance reflected: “The last two years have been fantastic for the group since we haven’t performed in two decades, but we reunited for the Trolls movie, and then suddenly Deadpool features Bye Bye Bye.” He noted how longstanding fans, along with newer, younger listeners, are rediscovering their tunes, adding: “Fingers crossed, we provide fans with a little something. I’d love that.”

Earlier this year, there were indications that Justin might be open to an *NSYNC reunion to coincide with their 30th anniversary in 2025, with discussions surrounding an album and a documentary detailing their journey. However, sources suggest that Justin’s involvement is vital for the project’s success.

A source disclosed to the Sunday Mirror: “The aspiration has always been for them to stage one significant comeback. This may be the one – the 30th anniversary is a remarkable milestone.”

“For the other members, it’s a now-or-never situation,” the source further noted, “A live performance captured as a special, along with a comprehensive documentary centered on their journey and untold narrative would be monumental.”

The source continued: “They’ve been discussing new music and have tracks under development at the moment. If everything falls into place, fans might be in for a spectacular 2025.”

“Of course, Justin is key to it all. However, there’s a lot of hope. This isn’t merely a cash grab, but rather a gesture from the group to acknowledge what they’ve accomplished and how grateful they are to their fans.”

Fans are optimistic about a reunion, especially following the earlier announcement from Oasis that they would reunite for a world tour. Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, known for their tumultuous relationship, have set aside their differences to tour together.
