The rosters and coaches for the North-South football squads participating in the eighth annual Alabama All-Star Sports Week from July 12-17 have been revealed by the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association.
This gathering will feature in-state all-star matchups in volleyball, boys and girls basketball, football, baseball, softball, and soccer, alongside clinics and sessions aimed at coaches, officials, and athletic directors, a product showcase, and additional related events. Other teams will be disclosed at a later time.
The North football team will be led by head coach Jay Brown from Pell City High School. During his second season in 2003, Brown steered the Panthers to a 12-1 record. His overall coaching record stands at 31-24. He has prior coaching experience at Guntersville and McAdory high schools as well as Jacksonville State University.
His coaching staff includes Jeff Bonner from Oakman, Dale Jeffreys from Red Bay, Kevin Rose from Sheffield, Josh Niblett from Oneonta, Drew Noles from Boaz, and Curtis Coleman from Huffman.

The South football coaching staff is led by Shayne Wasden from Eufaula High School. With 11 years of experience and a career record of 91-34 across three schools, he led his fourth season of the Tigers to an 11-1 record last year. He has previously coached at Georgiana and Opp high schools.
