Next, can we take a moment to genuinely appreciate these? Those Verdy Dunks a while back were a bit out there. Over the years, there have been numerous contentious releases (they all manage to sell out, of course), but these are definitely hard to ignore.
What I’m curious about is whether folks will actually skate these? To be fair, this is a question I ask every time a new Dunk releases, yet still. Nike SB keeps rolling them out regardless!

Don’t misunderstand me—I’m not criticizing. I was just caught off guard to see these appear in my feed today! I mean, I adore The Wizard of Oz, too! It’s a timeless classic. But indeed, these are quite eye-catching.
Regardless, our buddies at @nikesbornothing announced these will be landing in stores around mid-December. Whether you think they’re outlandish or not, these Dunk releases play an important role in backing your favorite skate shops. That’s why I’m fully supporting them.
Love them or dislike them, they are on the way! For those who can rock these—props to you! If you’re trying to grab a pair and engage in the art of the hustle—cool. But for those who saw these and felt, “I can’t wait to skate those!” Well, I salute you.
