WESTON, Mass. – The women’s swimming and diving team at Regis College achieved numerous seasonal and personal best times on Friday and Saturday, December 6-7, as the Pride hosted Keene State and Gordon College at the Regis Pool for the Regis Invitational.

On Friday evening, Izzy Serrecchia (Woburn, Mass.) set a new personal best in the 50-yard butterfly, clocking in at 49.68, surpassing her last record of 53.22. Olivia Luhnau (Castle Rock, Colo.) took first place in the 100-yard IM on Friday, finishing in 1:06.41, and secured another first-place finish on Saturday in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58:02. Luhnau also participated in the 50-yard breaststroke, achieving a time of 33.69, just three-tenths of a second behind Emma Lippiat from Gordon College.

Kali Taylor (Brattleboro, Vt.) set a new personal best on Friday in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.10, while Sophia Nylin (Malden, Mass.) completed the 50-yard freestyle, achieving a personal best of 29.75.

After the holiday break, Regis College will resume competition against Albertus Magnus in New Haven on Friday, January 10, starting at 6:00 p.m.
