MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Over the weekend, the Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Club at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is conducting its 60th annual Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Resale event at Union South.
This yearly outdoor recreation equipment sale gives the community a chance to purchase discounted gear for all ages in preparation for the upcoming season — featuring downhill and nordic skis, snowboards, boots, jackets, helmets, goggles, touring equipment, and telemark skis — and also allows community members to sell their new and gently used items.
The event started on Saturday, Dec. 7 and will take place again on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Every dollar raised supports the Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Club,” shared Claire Steidinger, Director of the Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Resale. “As a nonprofit, this helps increase accessibility to the club and to skiing.”
