Prepare for an exhilarating new season
The time has come, and Tencent has officially unveiled the PUBG Mobile Esports 2025 roadmap for the forthcoming season. This announcement occurred on the second day of the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals.
This features a comprehensive schedule of events, alongside a $10 million injection into the global esports arena. Let’s delve into more specifics in this article.
PUBG Mobile Esports 2025 international tournaments
- PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO): The second installment of PMGO, which kicked off in Brazil in 2024, is set to occur in Uzbekistan in March and April. Teams will qualify through regional competitions, uniting the best from around the globe.
- PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC): The PMWC will return to Riyadh as part of the prestigious Esports World Cup. Outstanding performances during the PMSL Spring will secure spots in this celebrated event, which recognizes multiple games in a single venue.
- PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC): Information regarding this flagship event is forthcoming, but it aims to conclude the competitive year with the leading teams worldwide battling for dominance.

Regional growth with PMSL
Tencent is placing greater emphasis on regional expansions, broadening into five areas:
- Southeast Asia
- Europe
- Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
- Central and South Asia (CSA)
- Americas
Last year, Europe and MENA were merged into one region, but this will change. With each region now hosting its own PMSL, there will be two editions—Spring and Fall—providing teams multiple opportunities to excel and qualify for global events.
Local competitions
Tencent is also eager to foster a more competitive environment in PUBG Mobile. They plan to host an increased number of local tournaments in 2025. These events are intended to nurture new talent and expand the game’s reach by creating a passage for players to advance from local to global stages.
