The Pittsburgh Steelers have navigated their recent challenges and are now back in full swing. They triumphed over the Cleveland Browns 27-14, showcasing their prowess as they secure their standing at the forefront of the AFC North.

The turnaround began after their Week 9 break. The Steelers narrowly edged past the Washington Commanders 28-27, managing to clinch a close victory. Week 11 brought another tight contest, resulting in an 18-16 win against the Baltimore Ravens. In Week 12, however, the Steelers faced defeat at the hands of the Browns, suffering a surprising 24-19 loss that underscored the growing concerns for their defense. Their next match saw them surviving a high-scoring affair with the Bengals, who kept the game thrilling with a surge of late points.

Yet on Sunday against the Browns, the Steelers erased any lingering doubts from that disappointing defeat two weeks prior. Russell Wilson, who has maintained a steady and sometimes exceptional performance this season, threw two touchdowns without any interceptions. The offense had numerous chances to impress, but it was the defense that truly stood out. They restricted the Browns to just two touchdowns (one at the outset and another late in the game when the outcome was already decided), sacked Browns QB Jameis Winston three times, and picked him off twice.

This victory boosts Pittsburgh’s record to 10-3 (making them the first team in the AFC North to reach 10 wins in 2024), while the Browns now mirror that with a disappointing 3-10.
