POTSDAM – The Equestrian Team of Clarkson University, part of the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA), successfully wrapped up an exceptional Fall 2024 competition season this November at St. Lawrence University.
As they look forward, Clarkson is thrilled to announce that three skilled riders will be moving on to the Zone 2 Region 2 Regional competition on March 29, 2025, hosted at St. Lawrence University. The qualifiers include:
Lara Van Putten ’25 – who will be competing in Limit Fences & Limit Flat
Lauren Duchscherer ’25 – who will be participating in Novice
Nikki Fink ’27 – also competing in Novice
A special mention goes to Molly Gifford ’24, who concluded her IHSA journey on a high note with a first-place win. Throughout her tenure with the team, she accumulated an impressive 168 points, held the position of Vice President of the Equestrian Club for two years, and captained the IHSA Team for four years. Her commitment and leadership have made a significant impact on both the club and the team. The entire Clarkson community wishes Molly ongoing success in her professional and equestrian pursuits.
