Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James’ alleged connection to disgraced rapper Diddy has been a trending topic recently. Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington criticised the 39-year-old ahead of his fight against Joaquin Buckley, which he ultimately lost on Saturday.

Former Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury also weighed in on the matter, posting on X that he has made many mistakes in his life but proudly noted that he never attended a Diddy party, as some claim James might have.

Former Cleveland Cavaliers guard Brandon Goodwin is the latest to comment on the rumored connection between James and Diddy. He stated that if the rumors are true, it would be one of the “craziest” sports stories in history.

Diddy is currently facing a series of serious allegations, including sex trafficking and rape. In October, two lawsuits were filed by individuals who were reportedly underage at the time of the alleged sexual assaults, with one victim reportedly being just 10 years old when the incident occurred.

Fashion designer Bryana Bongolan has also accused the rapper of threatening her life in 2016 by holding her over a 17th-floor balcony and threatening to drop her.

Goodwin, who has been out of the NBA for several years, last played during the 2021-22 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 36 games, he averaged 4.8 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 0.7 steals per game.

Before his stint with the Cavaliers, Goodwin spent three seasons playing for the Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks. He went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft but played college basketball at the University of Coastal Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University.

James, on the other hand, remains active in the NBA but appears to be nearing the end of his career. Now in his 22nd season, James is in his seventh season with the Lakers organization.
