PROVO, Utah – Three BYU gymnasts have been named to the 2025 Big 12 Gymnastics Preseason Team, the league announced Friday afternoon.

Honoring gymnasts in four events and the All-Around, six programs were represented among the 31 selections. Selections were voted by head coaches who could not vote for their own gymnasts. A tie in floor created an extra position.

Sophomore Brynlee Andersen was named to the Preseason Beam Team, while fifth-year senior Anna Bramblett-Wilde earned a spot on the Preseason Bars Team and senior Sophie Dudley secured a position on the Preseason Floor Team.

Brynlee Andersen
The Orem, Utah native earned a lot of recognition in her first year on the BYU gymnastics team, earning a unanimous selection to this year’s preseason team for beam. Andersen competed on beam in every meet in the 2024 season, earning a career-and-team high beam score of 9.975 against Ohio State. She earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week in week 10 and scored a 9.8 or higher in 13 of the 15 meets, qualifying her for regionals as an individual competitor on the balance beam.

The Prescott Valley, Arizona native decided to return for a fifth season following a career high season in 2024. Bramblett-Wilde competed on the uneven bars in every meet last year, earning a new career-and-team high 9.950 on the event at BYU’s first-ever Big 12 Gymnastics Championship.
