FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball fell to Wyoming at Titan Gym Sunday afternoon by a final score of 73-69. Fullerton drops to 4-9 on the year with the loss.
The Titans made a valiant effort at a comeback after falling behind by as many as 19 points in the second half.
Fullerton trailed 50-31 early in the second before going on a 16-4 run to climb back in the game. The Titans defense held Wyoming without a field goal for nearly eight minutes of action during that stretch.
Zion Richardson capped off the run with a huge three-pointer to cut the Titans deficit to just eight points with 10:33 remaining in the game.

From that point on the Titans slowly chipped away at the Cowboys lead before eventually making it a two-point game with 37 seconds left thanks to two made free-throws by Donovan Oday.

The Titans bench was a key factor all night, scoring 29 points while out-scoring Wyoming’s bench unit 29-18.

Kaleb Brown added 11 points for the Titans while grabbing five boards and dishing out a team-high three assists. Zachary Visentin was a spark plug off the bench for Fullerton, scoring a career-high 11 points on a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor.
