The rest of us are going to reflect on ways we can honor Casey in the way he deserves; to have his genius, talent and heart celebrated and experienced by the world and the people who appreciated it.”Casey Chaos, the popular frontman for the band Amen and a professional skateboarder, has died.He was 59.“It is with great sadness, grief and sorrow that we can confirm the passing of Casey Chaos after seeing the news currently being reported,” the post read. “As you can imagine, everyone in the band, past and present, are absolutely devastated.You can see the post here.The band announced his death on its Facebook page.Chaos, whose real name is Karim George Chmielinski, was a native of Trenton, New York, and his first love was skating. According to reports, he was so good that he was touring as a professional skateboarder by the time he was 10.The band released four albums, the last of which, “Death Before Musick,” came in 2004.He reportedly got into music in 1982, and in 1994 he formed Amen.No cause of death for Chaos has been reported.The band asked fans to share memories of Chaos on the page.
