Lisbon looks to fill BPA vacancy
Banquet in Salem Thursday
The Community Action Agency of Columbiana County reminds residents that all CAA health, behavioral health and dental clinics will be closed today, Wednesday and Jan. 1.
The Village of Lisbon Board of Public Affairs (BPA), which oversees the village’s water and sewer systems, seeks letters of interest from community members to fill a vacancy on the board. The BPA meets twice a month at 5 p.m. Board members are paid 0 a month and must be village residents. Letters must be submitted to Village Hall by Dec. 31. The board will nominate a replacement and village council will then vote on the nominee.
Lisbon’s Grant Street Bridge will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon on Jan. 28 to allow for the placement of the second beam. Motorists take alternative routes. The closure was originally to take place on Jan. 23 but a delay in delivery of materials led to the date changes.
CAA clinics closed for holidays
