T-Mac Moves Up All-Time Three-Point Leaderboard
•Fifth-year Tarriyonna Gary, nicknamed “T-Mac”, has been a sharpshooter from the moment she stepped foot on campus just over two years ago.
•Gary has led the team in three-point field goals made in each of the last two seasons.
•Gary has moved passed Natalia Issac for 6th in Temple history in career three-point field goals made. She also ranks 4th in Temple’s school history with a 37.0% three-point shooting percentage.

The Race to 1000
Tiarra East has scored 1000 points for the Temple Owls after a 20-point performance against Xavier.
Tarriyonna Gary has scored a total of 987 points in her collegiate career, leaving her just 13 points shy of reaching 1,000. Out of those 987 points, 640 have been earned during her time at Temple.

THE RAISING THE B.A.R INVITATIONAL
• Xavier, currently 4-6, is looking to end a four-game losing streak. The Musketeers have struggled against Temple, losing their last three matchups.
• Senior Loren Christie and freshman Meri Kanerva are the team’s leading scorers, averaging 11 points and over 25 minutes per game. Christie posted a season-high 21 points earlier this month against Creighton (12/04/24) and leads the team in rebounds with 64 through 10 games.
• In their most recent contest against Cincinnati, sophomore Daniela Lopez, coming off the bench, led Xavier with 13 points and seven rebounds.
• This season, the Musketeers have been out-rebounded by their opponents seven times, averaging 29 rebounds per game. The team features a tall roster, with their shortest player at 5’7″.
• Xavier is coached by Billi Chambers, who became the ninth head coach in the program’s history on April 5, 2023. Chambers joined the Musketeers after spending 10 seasons at Iona University (2013-2023).
• Last season, Xavier finished with a 1-27 record, including a 0-18 mark in Big East play.
• Fordham is on a four-game win streak that started after a 90-51 win over Siena on November 23.
• During the four-game win streak, Fordham has beaten Siena, Stony Brook, Yale, and LIU.
• The Rams’ last loss came at the hands of Manhattan, where Fordham lost 58-65 in Manhattan, N.Y.
• Taylor Donaldson (16 points) and Irene Murua (11.7 points) are the only Rams averaging double figures for Fordham.
• The Rams finished the 2023-24 season with a 13-17 record and an 8-10 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Following a 66-51 victory over Xavier, the Owls punched their ticket to the Raising the B.A.R. Championship game against No. 24 California.

• The Owls look to face No. 24 California, following the 66-51 victory over Xavier on Saturday in game one of the Raising the B.A.R Invitational.
• The Owls had three players in double digits, Tiarra EastTarriyonna Gary, and Amaya Oliver. Oliver had her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 14 rebounds. 
• Against Xavier, the Owls finished the night going 26-65, shooting 40% from the field, and went 9-18 behind the 3-point line, finishing with a 3-point percentage of 50%.
• The Owls won the rebound battle against the Musketeers by a +18 margin. Temple had 45 rebounds compared to Xavier’s 27.
• In the second quarter, the Owls went 8-17 from the field, shooting 47%.
• The Owls forced 20 Xavier turnovers which in the first quarter Xavier had 8 turnovers.

Scouting the Golden Bears
• California is on a six-game win streak after a 69-53 win over Fordham in the semifinals of the Raising the BAR tournament.
• In the six-game win streak, Cal knocked off the No. 19 Alabama with a 69-65 during the SEC/ACC challenge.
• The Bears haven’t lost since November 26 when Cal lost 72-78 to Michigan State in the Acrisure Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.
• Lulu Twidale (15.6 points), Ioanna Krimili (15.4 points), Marta Suarez (12.7 points), Kayla Williams (11.9 points), and Michelle Onyiah (10.2 points) are averaging double-digit points for the Bears.
• The Bears finished the 2023-24 season with a 19-15 record and a conference record of 7-11. Cal was invited to the WNIT Tournament, where they fell in the second round to St. Joseph’s 61-63.
