Peyton Scott, a fifth grader at Denver Elementary and the grandson of Lauren Scott and Vicky Witte, of Manchester, made an impressive mark in his first-ever archery competition, as he finished eighth in the elementary division of the South Tama Archery Invitational, Dec. 7. Finishing eighth out of 59 archers with a score of 204, Scott also paced his Denver Elementary squad with the only score of 200 or higher. He is the son of Justin and Brandi Scott, of Denver. Justin Scott is a 2000 graduate of West Delaware High School.
