Righetti basketball camps
There are two upcoming youth basketball camps at Righetti High School.
There will be a camp for second-through-eighth grade girls June 16, 23 and 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. each session.
There will also be a camp for third-through-eighth grade boys and girls June 17, 19, 24 and 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. each session.
The cost for each camp is $60. Both camps will offer basketball drill stations, player development and competitive games. Righetti coaches and players will be instructors at the camps.

Hancock sports camps
A series of Hancock College sports camps are upcoming.
Baseball camps are scheduled for June 9-12 and June 16-19. Children ages six through 13 are eligible. A softball camp is scheduled for June 27-28. Players ages six through 16 are eligible.
A girls basketball camp is scheduled for July 28-31, and a boys basketball camp is slated for Aug. 4-17. Players ages six-through-17 are eligible for the girls basketball camp, and players ages eight-through-15 are eligible for the boys basketball camp.

Taurasi basketball camp slated for July
The inaugural Taurasi Snow Valley Basketball Camp, an overnight camp for girls ages 11-18, is scheduled to take place July 24-27 at Westmont College.
Former WNBA star Diana Taurasi will oversee the camp. Taurasi is the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer, is considered to be one of the WNBA’s all-time greats and is considered to be a sure first-ballot inductee into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame when she first becomes eligible in 2027. Taurasi announced her retirement in February.
Taurasi is a three-time WNBA champion and six-time Olympic gold medalist.
Youth softball fundraiser
Lompoc High School softball team and Central Coast Cruisers 16U softball team member Rianna Stouppe has established a Cruisers 16U fundraiser.
