CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville senior guard Reyne Smith and Stanford senior center Maxime Raynaud shared Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors, and Duke guard/forward Cooper Flagg notched ACC Rookie of the Week honors, as announced Monday.

ACC men’s basketball weekly honors are nominated by the respective schools and determined by a vote of an 18-member media panel.

Raynaud earned Player of the Week laurels for the second time this season. Flagg was honored as Rookie of the Week for the fourth time.

Smith had a season-high 27 points in the Cardinals’ 90-76 road victory over Florida State, Louisville’s first ACC win of the season. Hailing from Ulverstone, Australia, Smith went 8-of-12 from the floor overall and made a season-high 6-of-9 shots beyond the arc. He was critical in the Cardinals’ success, particularly in the second half, as he made back-to-back 3-pointers to turn a four-point Louisville lead into a 10-point advantage with eight minutes remaining in the game. He also finished 5-of-5 from the charity stripe.

Raynaud averaged 18.0 points and 14.5 rebounds against Merrimack and No. 10 Oregon, recording double-doubles in each game. The native of Paris, France, posted 16 points and 16 rebounds in a midweek victory against Merrimack. He then tallied 20 points and 13 rebounds against No. 10 Oregon for his nation-leading 10th double-double of the season. He remains in the top 10 nationally this season in both points and rebounds.

A native of Newport, Maine, Flagg averaged 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game during a 2-0 week for the fifth-ranked Blue Devils. Flagg was one rebound shy of his fourth 20-point double-double of the season when he amassed 24 points, nine boards, four assists, three steals and a blocked shot in Duke’s 68-47 victory over George Mason. In Duke’s ACC road win over Georgia Tech, Flagg collected 13 points, four rebounds and two assists on his 18th birthday.
