  • NASCAR broadcasts reach 195 countries1 with TV viewership of 3.3 million per race2

Toronto, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – May 13, 2025) – American Aires Inc. (CSE: WIFI) (OTCQB: AAIRF) (“Aires” or the “Company”), a pioneer in advanced technology designed to optimize electromagnetic field (EMF) environments to support health and well-being, has activated its second Chad Finchum sponsorship integration in a multi-race partnership, which will run throughout the remainder of May and include the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Open at North Wilkesboro Speedway, North Carolina, on Sunday, May 18, and the NASCAR Cup Series Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday, June 1. Building on knowledge gained from the Company’s initial sponsorship success in October 2024, Aires will strategically install its products to optimize the electromagnetic field environment surrounding Finchum and the Garage 66 team to support their health while they use advanced in-race communication systems before and during the multiple race weekends. The widespread popularity and global reach of NASCAR includes Cup Series broadcasts being available in 195 countries and 29 languages,1 and TV viewership in 2025 to date totaling 42.3 million for an average of 3.3 million per race.2

Finchum, crew and the Garage 66 Ford Mustang car will also prominently showcase the Aires brand and its products throughout multiple race weekends, including Aires brand marks being featured in the car’s paint scheme, specifically on the highly visible hood, in addition to branding on the door, roof and bumper. Interactions with Finchum and crew will provide Aires with co-branded photo and video assets that the Company will leverage before and after the races across various Aires marketing campaigns and channels to enhance marketing efficiency and raise household awareness of the Aires brand, which will help reinforce consumer purchase patterns.

“It’s great to be partnering again with Chad Finchum and the Garage 66 team,” said Josh Bruni, CEO of Aires. “Chad isn’t just a competitor – he’s a new father, an elite performer, and someone who understands the connection between environment and performance. That makes this partnership deeply aligned. He discovered Aires through his personal pursuit of a cleaner, healthier life – at home and on the track. And like many athletes we work with, he knows that high performance starts with low interference.”

“As the lead sponsor in Nashville, we’re not just showing up with an Aires paint job – we’re making a point. Vehicles are one of the most EMF-saturated spaces in daily life, yet often overlooked. Whether it’s a racecar or a family SUV, Aires helps reformat that invisible layer between technology and biology. This moment is a symbol of something bigger: from arenas to cars to homes, people are rethinking their environments. And we’re proud to help drive that shift forward.”

For Finchum, the 30-year-old will get to drive in NASCAR’s All-Star weekend for the first time. The Knoxville, Tennessee native follows that up with his fourth premier series start in his home state and third at Nashville Superspeedway, most of any circuit on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar. He made his Next Gen debut at the 1.33-mile speedway last year.

“I love short track racing, and I love racing in front of my home crowd. Along with the rest of our Garage 66 partners, Aires has given me the opportunity to do both over the next couple events,” said Finchum. “It feels great to be getting behind the wheel of the Garage 66 entry three times in a five-week span. We can really get into a rhythm and build some momentum heading into these race weekends. With Aires EMF optimization, I will be able to deliver my maximum performance on raceday at both North Wilkesboro and Nashville.”

The Garage 66 team is making its eighth start in the All-Star Open and second at North Wilkesboro. Both there and Nashville, Garage 66 co-owner Carl Long is ready to apply his notes from one year ago to continue the progression and development of his team.

“It is a big deal for our growing program to return to a track with the same driver, same manufacturer, and returning team sponsors. It shows we are providing value to our partners, and it gives us the best chance to keep picking up speed on the racetrack. I know Chad will be laser-focused on doing a great job behind the wheel for all the folks at Aires and driving increased awareness about the benefits of creating EMF-friendly spaces,” said Long.

Over the past decade, B.J. McLeod has started 146 NASCAR Cup races, driving underfunded equipment, but doing as one of the most respected field-fillers in the sport. His best finish was seventh, which came in the summer race at Daytona in 2022.

McLeod is a driver/owner at Live Fast Motorsports and competed full-time before selling his Cup charter to Spire Motorsports for around $40 million dollars. Since then, he has been running a limited schedule in both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series.

A huge opportunity

However, the 41-year-old has never gotten the chance in truly competitive equipment … until now. Spire Motorsports is offering McLeod the opportunity to pilot one of their Trucks in next weekend’s race at Charlotte. He has 41 starts in the Truck Series with a best finish of 15th, but hasn’t competed in the series since the 2021 season.

At Charlotte, he will drive the No. 07 Spire Chevrolet Silverado with ‘Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster’ as the primary sponsor, which is a new business venture of his.

“Getting to race again in the NASCAR truck series with an incredible team is an honor,” said McLeod. “It’s a perfect partnership with Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster — speed, adrenaline, and pure excitement — both on the track and in the mountains. We’re ready to put on a show for the fans and make this ride one to remember.”

Spire is one of the strongest teams in the Truck Series since acquiring Kyle Busch Motorsports’ operation in 2023. This year, that same No. 07 truck has already visited Victory Lane with Kyle Larson at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Spire also earned a 1-2 finish in the most recent Truck race at Kansas with Carson Hocevar piloting the No. 7 to victory and William Byron finishing second in the No. 07. Along with Larson and Byron, Nick Sanchez and Sammy Smith have also driven the No. 07 truck this year.

University of North Carolina (UNC) Charlotte is hitting the NASCAR scene for the first time and doing it in style. They recently struck a deal with Front Row Motorsports to display the university’s branding on the No. 34 Ford F-150 driven by alumnus Layne Riggs. The truck will run in two NASCAR Truck Series races this May.

You can watch the truck at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 17 and Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 23. It will be hard to miss, since the truck’s paint scheme will match UNC Charlotte’s signature colors.

“My education is something I take a lot of pride in,” said Riggs in a team’s press release. “When I started my journey at Charlotte, I put a big emphasis on taking what I learned in the classroom and applying it to my racing career, something I still do today driving for Front Row Motorsports,” he further expressed.

The deal links Riggs’ time on track with his academic path. While earning his mechanical engineering degree from UNC Charlotte in 2024, he also won the Truck Series Rookie of the Year award, proving you can excel both in class and on track.

“At UNC Charlotte, we don’t just teach motorsports, we’re crafting the future of racing. Layne Riggs is a shining example of what happens when you combine engineering expertise with passion and grit,” stated Harish Cherukuri from the William States Lee College of Engineering.

After nine races this season, Riggs sits ninth in points. His top run came at Homestead-Miami, where he crossed the line in second place but was later disqualified after a post-race inspection. The 22-year-old driver has shown steady growth throughout the year.

Want to cheer him on? You can watch the North Wilkesboro race on FS1 or listen on SiriusXM channel 90. Green flag drops at 1:30 PM ET on May 17.

2025 Indianapolis 500 sold out – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — For just the second time in its history, the Indianapolis 500 is a sellout. Well, almost.

Doug Boles, president of the NTT IndyCar Series and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, announced Friday that a sellout is “imminent” and he expects the remaining grandstand tickets to be sold by the end of the day.

The first — and until now, only — grandstand sellout was in 2016 for the 100th running.

“The sheer size and scale of this crowd is going to be massive,” Boles said. “The 109th Running will be a full-scale, nonstop spectacle that draws the eyes of the world to Speedway, Indiana.”

Boles says the track will continue to sell general admission tickets until supplies run out.

Tickets have been in high demand all spring, with less than 10,000 grandstand seats available at the end of April. Brian Kaltenmark, senior marketing director for IMS, said May 1 that sales were up 4% year-over-year.

With packed grandstands and space for 100,000 fans in the infield, race day attendance could hit 350,000 — more than enough for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” to continue its reign as the largest single-day sporting event in the world.

A sellout doesn’t just mean more people at the track — it means the race will be shown live on TVs across central Indiana for just the fourth time in 75 years.

The speedway implemented a local TV blackout in 1951 after two years of live broadcasts, believing the race would draw bigger crowds if people could not stay home and watch it. Officials promised to lift the local TV embargo if the race ever sold out — and both of those things happened in 2016. The blackout was lifted again in 2020, when the race was held in August due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a third time last year following a four-hour rain delay.

The “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” is still 9 days away, but plenty of fans will be at the track on Friday for “Fast Friday.” In the final practice session before qualifications, cars will receive a turbocharger boost to reach the speeds they will run during qualifying on Saturday and Sunday.

Practice is scheduled to run from noon to 6 p.m. The qualification draw is set for 6:15 p.m. in Pagoda Plaza.

The 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 25. Join WISH-TV’s Daybreak starting at 5 a.m. for live coverage from IMS.
