Texas A&M freshman Ernest Campbell qualified to compete in two events at the NCAA Track and Field Championships to be held June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
Campbell, a former Refugio High School standout, combined with Ja’Qualon Scott, Mason Magnum, and Ahmad Robinson for the fourth-fastest qualifying time of 38.96 seconds in the 4×100-meter relay at the NCAA West First Round meet Saturday in College Station.
Campbell will also compete in the 100 dash after recording the fifth-best qualifying time at the NCAA West First Round meet with a 10.02.
