The Sun Devils were coming off the floor at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City after a first-round loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 tournament, when last seen. It was one of 11 losses in which the Arizona State men’s basketball team could smell victory, only to falter down the stretch.

ASU is one of five Big 12 teams in the field.
