Astoria venue to host the Reverend Beat-Man Aug. 14

The Reverend Beat-Man will perform at the Merrytime Bar and Grill, 995 Marine Drive in Astoria as part of a United States tour. The show is Aug. 14. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
He is the owner of Voodoo Rhythm Records, a music label based in Switzerland that has existed since 1992.
Reverend Beat-Man has been touring worldwide since 2000, playing festivals and shows in Europe, Japan, Africa and South America. It is his first West Coast tour since 2018.
His genre is described as “punk, trash rock and surreal folk blues.”
