Following its initial sponsorship announcement with Brazilian Serie A football team Esporte Clube Bahia in 2023, leading Australia based Retail FX and CFDs broker Axi has announced an extension to their collaboration for the next two seasons.
We are beyond excited to announce the renewal of our partnership with Brazilian side Esporte Clube Bahia S.A.F. for 
more seasons.
Axi posted the following note on social media regarding its agreement with Bahia.
Founded in 1931, Bahia plays in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Brazil’s top league. The club has won the Brasileirão title twice and their state title a total of 50 times. In 2023 City Football Group became the majority shareholder of Bahia SAF holding 90% of the club’s shares.
Axi has been very active of late in the sports sponsorship arena, recently extending an agreement with Manchester City star John Stones as Brand Ambassador. Axi is also a sponsor of LaLiga club Girona FC. Earlier this month Axi hired experienced industry marketing executive Pavlina Charalampous, to the position of Sponsorship Marketing Executive, as was exclusively reported here at FNG.
The new deal will also see the Axi logo appear on Bahia’s shorts in game action for the next two years.
Furthermore, we’re even more delighted that the Axi brand will now proudly feature on the famous Tricolor kit, further strengthening our bond with the City Football Group.
