BCRD Youth Basketball Registration | Calendar

Blaine County Recreation District’s Youth Basketball league opens for registration on December 3 at 5:30pm. This popular program emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and fun, and is open to children in kindergarten through 6th grade.

The 2026 BCRD Youth Basketball season runs from January 26 to March 12. Players in kindergarten through 3rd grade will participate in 3-on-3 half-court games, while 4th through 6th graders will compete in 5-on-5 full-court games. New this year, all age groups will be separated into boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Younger players (Kindergarten–3rd Grade) can choose to practice in Bellevue, Hailey, or Ketchum. For older divisions (4th–6th Grade), practices will take place in Hailey or Ketchum. All games for every age group will be held in Hailey. Families are encouraged to register early to guarantee their child’s spot in this popular program.

A registration fee of $85 includes instruction, team jersey, a participation award, and tax. Scholarships are available to ensure every child has an opportunity to play.

Volunteer coaches are vital to this community program, and the registration fee is waived for coaches’ children. If you are interested in volunteering as a head or assistant coach, please contact us before registering your child(ren) and fill out this form.
