Blockchain-Based MMO Games : Legend of YMIr
Legend of YMIR is a fantasy MMORPG from WEMADE that integrates Norse mythology with blockchain-based gameplay, built on Unreal Engine 5 and offering five playable classes: Berserker, Warlord, Skald, Völva, and Archer. The title’s Web3 mechanics include tradable in‑game assets and events tied to the WEMIX ecosystem, and the global release made the Web3 version available across Asia, North America, Europe, and South America following its initial operation in South Korea.
The game introduces a player‑governed “Partner’s Servers” model in which server operation rights were auctioned on the WEMIX PLAY platform, enabling community hosts to organise events, manage virtual economies, and share revenue; accompanying creator programmes such as Streamer Partner’s Server and the Streamer Supporting System provide tools for content creators to engage audiences. Competitive features include biweekly Server Battles that feed into the YMIR Cup, an international esports championship scheduled for early 2026 with WEMIX token rewards and other promotional events and airdrops tied to the launch.
