The Jacksonville Breakfast Rotary Club presented a $1,000 donation to the New River YMCA in support of the YMCA’s Annual Impact Fund.
The fund helps provide access to essential programs and services for local children, families and individuals, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive, said Nichole Lovejoy, New River YMCA chief advancement officer.
Contributions like the one from the rotary club help support community programs in child care, youth sports, summer camp, food distribution and wellness initiatives.
“We are deeply grateful for the support of the Jacksonville Breakfast Rotary Club,” Lovejoy said. “Their generosity helps us continue our mission of strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.”
The Jacksonville Breakfast Rotary Club is dedicated to serving the local and global community through service projects, scholarships and partnerships with area nonprofits. The club meets every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Golden Corral. Guests and new members are invited to attend.
