Brenau University recently established agreements with four area school systems aiming to address teacher shortages in the state.
The university’s TigerTEACH program partners with Buford City Schools, Forsyth County Schools, Gainesville City School System and Hall County Schools to provide accredited education instruction to teachers, leading to initial educator certification. The certifications are recognized by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
The first students began taking courses in Brenau’s summer semester that began on May 5. Additional students will begin the program this fall, according to BU.
The U.S. Department of Education has reported that Georgia has experienced teacher shortages in elementary and special education and multiple subject areas for years. According to a release from the university, the department projects shortages in these areas for the upcoming school year.
“The shortage of qualified teachers continues to be an issue in local schools and across the state,” Brenau President David L. Barnett, Ph.D., said. “Through these partnerships, Brenau can help increase the number of state-certified classroom teachers by providing educational opportunities for those already working in local schools.”
Through the TigerTEACH program, educators will be able to pursue either an undergraduate or a graduate degree in Brenau’s Carole Ann Daniel College of Education at specially negotiated tuition rates. The partner school systems will identify educators that are qualified for the program, who will then submit to Brenau’s requirements for admission. Brenau will also monitor each candidate through the progression of the program as required by the Georgia PSC.
The Master of Education program is completely online, offering three program options and six endorsement opportunities.

College Football 25 introduced the ability to fully customize your college team through EA’s Team Builder app on their website. By signing into an EA account, players had access to create a field, jerseys, and even customize the names of the players within their team.
Now, EA is back with College Football 26 with an updated and more streamlined version of Team Builder. From new rivalries to high school creation, dozens of new customization settings allow the player to overhaul their college or high school altogether.
Whether you’re a first time player or an esports veteran ready to build your roster to compete in CFB tournaments, your first stop should be the Team Builder. Here’s what you need to know:
EA has brought Team Builder out of beta with the latest version, introducing a new UI, twice the performance, and new optimizations for a wider range of devices.
However, it appears that even after the updates, the Team Builder website still fails to function properly on Google Chrome. Attempts to edit or preview schools on Chrome often result in a complete crash.
To avoid these issues, it would be best to use a different, more stable engine. Microsoft Edge appears to be the best option, with shorter load times and fewer crashes.
EA also added the ability to import your College Football 25 team into the new title, meaning that you can revamp the same college you created last year. The only difference will be that you now have to fill out more information, which the site will prompt you to do before allowing you to publish it.
For those who thought that the 10-image upload limit was too constrictive, EA’s new version of Team Builder now allows you to upload up to 5 MB of images and textures.
In College Football 26, Dynasty Mode has been expanded with greater control over your program’s identity. You can now choose from a range of program identity templates like Powerhouse, Pro Factory, or Cupcake. These templates provide a baseline for your dynasty and are tailored to different play styles and storylines.
Some team grades are dynamic and influenced by your in-game decisions. For example, your Stadium Atmosphere grade is affected by the size of the stadium you select, and your Championship Contender grade depends on which existing team you replace in Dynasty Mode. This ensures your custom team evolves based on your setup, rather than relying on a static template.
You can also create up to five custom rivalries for your team, adding rich context and tradition to your dynasty experience. Each rivalry includes historical data, such as the opposing team, rivalry name, all-time series record, last matchup result, and score.
Additionally, you now have full control over recruiting pipelines, letting you set where your team recruits from. Pipelines are ranked from Tier 1 (weak) to Tier 5 (dominant), giving you the ability to shape your recruiting strategy with precision.
Roster editing has been completely revamped for College Football 26. A new Roster Tab keeps your team’s Overall, Offensive, and Defensive ratings visible in real time as you make changes. This live feedback makes it easier to understand how each adjustment affects your team’s performance.
When editing individual players, you’ll now find two dedicated tabs: Bio and Skills & Abilities. In the Bio Tab, you can edit a player’s name, physical appearance, redshirt status, high school star rating, and dynamic Dealbreaker threshold, which influences transfer behavior.
The Skills and Abilities Tab allows for even deeper customization. You can select each player’s Archetype, determine their Development Trait, and set their Potential (low, medium, or high) to shape their skill growth ceiling.
You can also assign Physical and Mental Abilities using a tiered system from College Football as follows: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Physical abilities are tied to a player’s archetype, while mental abilities are position-specific and cannot be upgraded, encouraging careful planning and strategic decision-making.
To give players more freedom when designing their teams, College Football 26 introduces three new generic stadiums and a high school stadium, all unbranded and medium to small in size. This lets you build teams that feel more alive, whether you’re creating a local underdog or a rising mid-major school.
To start creating your dynasty or to see the showcase of some of the most popular creations from the community, head over to the College Football 26 Team Builder.
Missing some of your favorite teams from College Football 25? That’s because EA decided to add some of the top creations from popular content creators as the new FCS schools, such as Bordeaux’s Southern Kentucky Stallions and Not The Experts’ Rocky River Rebels, which were previously available to be downloaded in College Football 25.

College Football 25, which allowed players to create their custom colleges, was an instant hit for the revamped franchise. But the product of that customization left much to be desired.
Even after a year of production, College Football 25’s Team Builder site was often glitchy and unusable. EA addressed these issues in the Team Builder deep dive, which explained that the version designed for 26 would be more stable.
Team Builder’s capabilities are being tested now that version 2.0 is officially live, following the early release of College Football 26 for those who pre-ordered the game’s deluxe version for an additional $30.
Although Team Builder was expected to be more stable after its transition out of Beta, many users are still experiencing issues. The website remains unusable on Google Chrome for a significant number of users. However, EA has recently released a solution that is said to address this problem.
Pro tip for using our #CFB26 Team Builder website!
Make sure your web browser has “Graphics Acceleration” set to [ON] in the settings for a smoother performance.
Example on how to enable for Chrome:
1. Head to Settings
2. Click System
3. Enable “Use graphics acceleration when…— CFBDirect (@CFBDirect) July 8, 2025
For the best experience, ensure that Graphics Acceleration is enabled. This will give Team Builder a “smoother performance” regardless of browsers.
Since Google often has the most issues, here is how to activate the setting on Chrome:
Once enabled, restart your browser to apply the changes.
If changing the Graphics Acceleration setting in Google Chrome doesn’t work, we recommend using a different browser, such as Firefox or Microsoft Edge. These engines have been known to run Team Builder more stably than when using Google.
Team Builder has added multiple new features now that it has left Beta. With the latest expansion of College Football 26, including high school play in Road to Glory, players can now customize a high school and a college this year.
There are also fewer restrictions on image uploads this time around, with the cap moving from just 10 images to 5 MB of image storage space. Plus, now players can go even deeper when customizing their programs with the ability to set school grades, player traits, and rivalries.
Team Builder is a core part of every player’s experience with CFB 26. Fully establishing your tea and designing their look and feel makes the player stand out and feel more connected to their roster. Given just how many gamers are using Google Chrome on a regular basis, having this fix is a huge improvement to the daily gameplay experience of playing College Footbal 26

Live Nation has announced a 10-year naming rights partnership with Veikkaus, Finland’s state-owned gaming operator, for Helsinki Halli which is due to reopen in September.
Live Nation said the venue will be renamed Veikkaus Arena, marking a new chapter for the iconic Finnish arena.
The partnership follows the announcement earlier this year that Live Nation signed a 20-year long-term lease to operate the venue.
Veikkaus Arena has a capacity of up to 15,500 and has been a central hub for concerts, sports, and cultural events in Helsinki, Finland.
Closed since 2020, with limited reopening in 2021, the venue’s absence has left a significant gap in the Finnish live market. When operational, the arena contributed over €100 million annually to Helsinki’s local economy.
Veikkaus offers gambling and entertainment services with a focus on player well-being. Their upcoming naming partnership reflects their commitment to supporting live events and enriching the cultural landscape of Helsinki.
News of the partnership arrives at a time of significant momentum for live music across Europe, positioning Veikkaus Arena as a premier destination for global tours and brand partnerships in the Nordic live entertainment market.
Therese Liljedahl, Live Nation SVP International Partnerships said, “This partnership is a key milestone in bringing Veikkaus Arena back to the forefront of international live entertainment.
“Veikkaus’s strong Finnish heritage and leadership in the local market puts them centre stage in this exciting moment for Finland’s live music landscape, helping to elevate the fan experience and support the region’s growth.”
Tom Lynch, Live Nation President of Venues EMEA added, “Reopening the arena and partnering with Veikkaus represents a pivotal moment for the venue landscape in the Nordic region.
“Veikkaus Arena is poised to attract top-tier international tours, further cementing the strength of Finland’s live music scene.”
Olli Sarekoski, CEO of Veikkaus said, “The arena is the heart of our capital city and a hub for high-quality events. It is important that as many people as possible get to enjoy the arena’s diverse offering of culture, sports, and entertainment. Veikkaus wants to actively promote and enable those experiences together with Live Nation.”
Reija Laaksonen, Veikkaus Director of Human Resources and Communications said: “We want to be strongly involved in the everyday lives of Finns through entertainment, sports, culture, and related events.
“The arena is an excellent place to offer these experiences to customers in our nation’s capital. In cooperation with the arena, we are enabling world-class live entertainment for people in Helsinki.”
Live Nation will also continue its collaboration with long-time venue partner Hartwall, focusing on food and beverage offerings.
Veikkaus Arena will be opening in September 2025, with announcements on shows and events coming soon. Discussions are also underway to explore the arena’s potential sporting uses.
Over the years, the arena has welcomed icons such as David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Elton John, the Spice Girls, Robbie Williams, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Lana Del Rey, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Prince and Black Sabbath.
Lynch added, “The arena has been closed for five years, but it’s had a team of people in there looking after it, which is really important. So we’re upgrading the venue with new concourses, new VIP lounges and a whole new F&B experience, because five years is a long time in terms of how much the fan experience has moved on.
“We’re also reconfiguring some of the seating to maximise the capacity and sight lines for concerts. We’re investing in the infrastructure, investing in the experience, and bringing big acts back to the city. That’s what will underpin all of our work.”

Road to Glory is back in EA Sports College Football 26 and it is deeper that it has ever been before.
The updated game mode now has a high school and college portion of Road to Glory. We have already taken a look at the high school part of the mode and how to become a five-star recruit, attracting the attention of top schools in the country.
Once the player gets past high school and enters college, how can they go from freshman unknown to Heisman Trophy winner? Here’s the full guide on how to navigate through Road to Glory in college.
Players will begin their college careers by speaking with their offensive or defensive coordinator to discuss how to navigate through the week. There are five components to each week, where seven energy points have to be spent on them through the Weekly Agenda. Each section is vital to performance on and off the field, as it can have both positive and negative effects.
Related Article: How to Pre-Download EA Sports College Football 26 Before the Game Releases
Of the five items on the weekly agenda, health is considered the most important. The more hits the player takes during the game as part of the wear and tear system, the more likley they are to get injuried. Make sure to put plenty of points on Healthy to help the player survive through the season.
Keep an eye out for Academic. Many gamers would like to forget about it since it doesn’t seem important when trying to get into the NFL. The thing to watch out for is if the player falls under the 2.0 GPA, he can be ruled academically ineligible and won’t be able to play again until he can get his grade up. It is crucial not to ignore academics, much like real life.
The other important meter is XP or experience points. It can be a grind to get through the next three to four years in college, trying to elevate the player to a high rating, and practice is the best way to achieve that. It’s in the best interest to complete the training part as quickly as possible to either earn the starting job faster or create a large lead in the starting role over the backup.
One of the new features in Road to Glory is the update to the Coach section of the Weekly Agenda. Coach Trust is where gamers can see how many more Coach Trust points they need to become the starter or how much more they need to increase so that the backup misses them. There are rewards to earning a coach’s trust, including being able to call more plays, make audibles at the line, and change protections. Those have to be earned in practice and on the field.
Coach Happiness is new, where on- and off-field decisions will determine how the coach feels about the player. Bad choices can lead to a coach being so unhappy that the player gets benched or worse, might have to transfer because they can never recover. Every decision has a positive and negative effect on the player and how the coach likes them.
Throughout the season, the Road to Glory player will earn skill points that can be used to upgrade their ratings and statistics. Each rating will cost a different number of points, depending on how important that attribute is to the player’s archetype and how low the player’s rating is. An example is a Pure Runner QB could have a 78 Accuracy rating and be able to use four skill points to upgrade their Accuracy by one rating, but a 73 Power rating would take 10 skill points to increase that rating by one.

The player will have moments throughout the season that can either have a positive or negative effect on the week. Moments like the starting quarterback inviting the player out to see a movie will cost one energy point if he goes. Saying yes to something like this could help boost the leadership meter. However, saying no to a sorority girl asking the player out to a party could damage his reputation.
There will be an academic adviser who will check in on the player throughout the season. She will ensure that the player knows their grades on exams and whether they are academically eligible to play or if they are safe with the current marks they have. One way to make life easier in school is that if a player has a 3.7 or higher GPA in each of the first three years of college, they can graduate early.
Practices in the mode will feature different drills that players can run. For example, a quarterback will have drills focused on scrambling to a specific spot on the field to throw, an option drill, and throwing passes from the pocket. It’s essential to get golds as often as possible to earn the coach’s trust and experience points.
During games, a grading system will be displayed at the top left of the screen, showing the player’s progress throughout the game. The higher the grade, the better the chance of keeping the starting job and staying on the field. As and Bs are good to have, but anything below a C could have an impact on Coach Trust and Happiness, potentially leading to a warm spot on the bench.
At the end of each season, the player will have the option to enter the transfer portal. The player will be able to see all the possibilities for the teams that would be interested in seeing him join the program. Those with the green bar mean they are highly interested. The summary for each team in the transfer portal will show gamers the following information:
Once a player gets to their junior year, they can have another option to declare for the NFL Draft. At that point, if the player wants to go to the NFL, gamers can save the player and import it into Madden 26’s Superstar Mode to continue playing his career. The final overall rating can determine whether the player will be a number-one pick or land elsewhere in the draft.
The most significant challenge gamers will face is deciding where to allocate their energy points. As long as they make enough time to study and stay healthy while utilizing the practices to gain more XP, that’s the best way to maintain high performance and win the Heisman Trophy.
