BOSTON, MA – The Bryant swimming and diving team will travel to Boston University for a dual meet this Saturday.
Bryant’s swimming and diving squad will begin competition on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 PM at the FitRec Competition Pool. Following their competition at the McCann Natatorium against Marist, this meet will be the Black and Gold’s final regular season event before the America East Championships, scheduled to take place in late February in Lexington, VA.
The Bryant University women’s team currently holds a record of 7-2, while the men’s team stands at 6-3.

Bulldog Notes and Highlights:
- Bryant’s men’s and women’s squads recently took home wins against Marist College.
- James Misto earned two first-place finishes against Marist, helping secure the victory on the men’s side.
- In the 500-yard Freestyle and the 1000-yard Freestyle, Leo Luna claimed first place yet again, continuing his unbeaten streak in long-distance events this season.
- Diver, Christopher Buonocore was named Diver of the Week by the America East Conference after his performance against Marist, where he placed first in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 328.13. This marks Buonocore’s fifth dive recognition of the season.
- Makayla Pearce earned another first-place finish in the 1000-yard Freestyle with a time of 10:39.68. Pearce has won the 1000 free in the past two meets.
- In the 3-meter and 1-meter Dives, Megan Beasley placed first, extending her winning streak in diving competitions.
About the Terriers:
- The women’s team holds a record of 4-4 this season, with losses to Bucknell, Army West Point, MIT, and Boston College.
- The men’s team stands at 6-2, with losses to Army West Point and Boston College.
- Boston University is set to close out its season by hosting the annual BU Winter Open before competing in the Patriot League Championships.
