Just three years ago, the Buffalo Bills aided Canisteo-Greenwood in creating a varsity girls flag football team. That year, New York State officially recognized flag football as a sport. The Chargers went on to win the Section V Class B championship in their inaugural year. Now, in partnership with the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, the Buffalo Bills Foundation is committed to give $260,000 to help launch modified teams across the state. Yet again, Canisteo-Greenwood will receive funding to create their very own modified team.
