Byerly Leads Winners at MJSS Midstate Race #4

Twelve Junior Dragster racers captured wins at the Midwest Jr. Super Series Race #4 at Midstate Dragway.

HAVANA, IL- The Midwest Jr. Super Series held their fourth event of the season at Midstate Dragway on August 22-24, 2025. This was the first time the series has visited Midstate Dragway. The event featured multiple Junior Dragster classes, including Age Group categories, Outlaw 330, Quick 16, Indexes, Sportsman and Pro Sportsman. The weekend was presented by Kawasaki and BIG St. Charles Motorsports.

The next event for the series will be September 5-7, 2025 for the NHRA Division 2 Jr Finals at Wagler Motorsports Park.

Friday Night Bash

Sydnee Johnston was the Friday Night Bash winner.

Quick 16

In ARP Automotive Racing Products presented by Brandospeed Quick 16, Abby Kerns claimed the final round win over Tyler Wied.

Erica Boyer was the #1 Qualifier.

13 & Up Age Group

Hailey Antonioni earned the Manhattan Collision Center presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance 13 & Up Age Group final round win over Cohen Hale.

10-12 Age Group

Jayden Jones defeated Knox Rachford in the Diamond Pistons 10-12 Age Group final round.

6-9 Age Group

In the Coating Specialties presented by XS Power Batteries 6-9 Age Group final, Ashley Antionioni picked up the win over Kynlee Darr.

Sportsman

In the Big St. Charles Motorsports presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance Sportsman class, Gage Byerly claimed the final round win over Carson Wied.

Jacob Coonan was the Sportsman 6-9 year old winner.

Outlaw 330

Erica Boyer picked up the Hangsterfer’s Laboratories Outlaw 330 win over Mia Rybraski.

Mia Rybarski was also the #1 Qualifier.

Gage Byerly picked up the Summit Racing Equipment presented by Sub-Trailer Hitch 7.90 Index win over Chase Picchi.

8.90 Index

Carter Reeves defeated Nash Rachford in the This Is Bracket Racing Jr. 8.90 Index final round.

11.90 Index

Alaina McWhirter claimed the Six Six Apparel presented by XS Power Batteries 11.90 Index final round win over Kynlee Darr.

13.90 Index

In the Lincoln Electric presented by NecksGen 13.90 Index class, Ashley Antonioni captured the final round win over Jacob Coonan.

Pro Sportsman

In Hangsterfer’s Laboratories presented by BTE Racing Pro Sportsman, Jacob Coonan earned the final round win over Cohen Hale. Jacob was also the 6-9 Pro Sportsman winner.
