Emma Raducanu, according to Sportico, amassed $14 million through endorsement agreements, surpassing the combined $12 million earned by Aryna Sabalenka ($8 million) and Elena Rybakina ($4 million). When a tennis fan revealed this information, Casper Ruud disputed its validity.

Coco Gauff leads Sportico’s ranking of the top 15 highest-paid female athletes, garnering $9.4 million in prize money alongside $21 million from endorsements. Other tennis stars featured on this list, aside from the aforementioned athletes, include Iga Swiatek, Qinwen Zheng, Naomi Osaka, Jasmine Paolini, and Jessica Pegula.

Raducanu, whose participation this season has been limited by injuries, ranked seventh, with the bulk of her income stemming from high-paying endorsement deals. However, Ruud expressed skepticism about the accuracy of Sportico’s figures, responding to a post on X that discussed Raducanu’s superior earnings compared to Sabalenka and Rybakina combined.

How do you/they know? Have you seen all of Emma, Aryna and Elena’s contracts with your own eyes?

In reply, when a user pointed out that Sportico’s information was derived from “discussions with those familiar with marketing agreements,” the 25-year-old tennis player contended that Sportico was merely conjecturing since agents typically will not disclose exact endorsement figures.

Fair enough, but even for them (Sportico) it’s a guessing game.. there’s no way an agent would ever give access to their players’ contracts so in reality only the agent & player know the real numbers.. they should write «highest estimated paid athletes» instead..

Casper Ruud asserts Jannik Sinner differs from Novak Djokovic

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner’s style is frequently compared to that of the 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. Casper Ruud, who has faced both athletes, clarified how Sinner’s approach is distinctly different from that of the Serb.

I don’t like to draw comparisons between players since each has their own unique style. To me, you truly only grasp how rapidly Jannik plays when you witness him live in the stadium. It’s unfair to judge the speed from a TV perspective.

Casper Ruud stated during a press conference

Ruud has fallen to Sinner in all three matches they’ve played, while against Djokovic, the Norwegian has claimed just one victory from six encounters, including the 2023 French Open final, which was won by Nole. Sinner, on the other hand, concluded the season with eight titles, while Djokovic finished with none on the ATP Tour.
