NAPERVILLE – After earning the final two College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week awards of the fall season, Illinois Wesleyan’s Griffin Pohl made it three selections in a row after securing the league’s first honor of the 2025 spring season on Wednesday.
The Western Springs, Ill. native shot rounds of 66, 71 and 70 for a nine-under-par total of 207 at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invite at Pine Lakes Golf Club in Pine Lakes, Ga.
Pohl finished second on the individual leaderboard in a field of 150 student-athletes from eight teams currently ranked in the Division III top 10.
