Former Purdue Northwest Baseball pitcher Chad Patrick officially earns the big league dream as he was named to the Opening Day roster for the Milwaukee Brewers of the 2025 Major Leage Baseball (MLB) season.Everyone at Purdue Northwest Athletics congratulates Chad Patrick on this incredible lifetime achievement and we wish him luck on this exciting journey in the show!Patrick was a dominant pitcher during his time in Hammond, Indiana for the Pride being named GLIAC Pitcher of the Year in 2021 and earning Third Team All-American honors that season.In the summer of 2021, Patrick was drafted in the fourth round of the MLB Draft to the Arizona Diamondbacks becoming the first Pride baseball player and student-athlete to be drafted to professional organization.Patrick also becomes the first Purdue Northwest Baseball to be named to an Opening Day roster for the MLB.
